Write for us

Lively Racing Journal welcomes pitches that make a specific part of motor racing clearer, more vivid or easier to follow. We are interested in evergreen stories with a distinct question and a useful answer.

What to pitch

Propose a focused story about race formats, circuit features, racecraft, machine design or racing history. Strong ideas explain one subject rather than attempting to cover an entire series or season. We welcome fresh angles that help a general reader notice something meaningful.

What makes a strong proposal

Send a working title, a short summary of the central idea, the category it fits and a note about the material you would use to support factual claims. Tell us what the reader will understand by the end and why the subject remains useful beyond a single race weekend. Do not include confidential information.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication. We consider its fit, clarity, originality and the evidence available for the claims it would make.
